Paintings are made directly on the plastered acrylic painted walls.
Also acrylics are the colors I use for wall paintings.
By the way, to avoid painting on site, I generally use woodden panels as in this case
Hayballs, plasterboard panels or simply canvases.
A"Wall"'s aim is to give the impression of fake windows
rendering the "trompe-l'oeil" effect, as in
Trinità dei Monti Steps or in
Landscape.
You can also paint the ceiling and create fake low walls
as in
The cat or you can paint an entire room
with a country scene, even a comic-strip one,
as in Picnic,
MC Duck
and Duck's car.
